Okay...let's talk about cosplay. Anything cosplay-related. Let's see...i started cosplay this year at HCG 2011 and it was pretty fun. I made lot's of new friends and new people from all sorts of different ages...really. I realized that most of them were 18 and above (not that i care). Pretty cool~ They were all nice and i guess i liked the mixture..imean there were people who were older than me and there were also people younger than me. My first cosplay was Hibari. I picked that cosplay for many reasons. First reason as any otaku would know was my love for that character. Second reason was that i wanted to CROSSPLAY. i'm a total tomboy and i hate girly stuff but i'll get to that in my next post as that is not really cosplay-related lol...And also, Hibari's kinda easy to cosplay as his hair is short and black like mine. I was gonna cut my own hair but my mom didn't let...so annoying...so i just had to waste money on buying a wig instead. A friend of mine helped me order the costume from taobao, a China website that most cosplayers order their clothes from. It's kinda cheap and reasonable so I guess that's why most people order it from there. anyway i have something to say to all those losers who DESPISE cosplay.
I don't have anything against you not liking it, i mean that's your choice but could you please be more considerate and think about us when you insult cosplay? I mean it's our passion and for some of us it's our life. Like for me most of my friends is because of cosplay. U take away cosplay u take away half of my life. My time is taken up talking about cosplay, 90% of my friends are my cosplay friends and I literally dream about cosplay...fine i know i'm an otaku. A real bad one...xDD so again to those cosplay-haters, please stop insulting us and to our parents who don't let us cosplay please don't stop us and please understand that cosplay is part of our lives.
